For over 40 years, the Lawrence Jewish Community Women have been fulfilling its mission
1. To carry out the tradition and spirit of Judaism,
2. To provide friendship among the women of the Jewish community,
3. To support the Lawrence Jewish Community Center financially and through participation in the functions thereof,
4. To support other communal Jewish organizations and activities, and
5. To support the Lawrence community and its agencies and organizations through volunteer services and financial contributions.
This year, we hope that you will join us in our efforts to continue fulfilling this mission.
The Lawrence Jewish Community Women receives its funds from member dues, the gift shop, and the Blintz Brunch, which it shares with the LJCC.
The JCW donates money to 25 different local charitable organizations annually. The JCW collects toiletries to donate to the Women’s Transitional Care Facility.
Please bring toiletries to our meetings. We also have two new funds accepting donations: a Camp Fund for anyone interested in attending a Jewish Camp and a
Guest Fund to help people attend JCW programs where there is a cost involved. Member dues are $30, which includes a 20% discount at the gift shop.
Membership dues can be sent to Heather Frost, c/o LJCC, 917 Highland Dr., Lawrence, KS 66044.
